Product Description

Watercheck with Pesticide Option is a comprehensive informational water analysis designed for the homeowner whose drinking water comes from a private well or spring. This water testing package tests for 107 items including Bacteria (Total Coliform and E-Coli), 22 heavy metals and minerals including lead, iron, arsenic and copper; 7 other inorganic compounds including nitrates and nitrites; 5 physical factors including pH, hardness, alkalinity; 4 Trihalomethanes (THMs) and 47 Volatile Organic Chemicals (VOCs) including Benzene, Methyl Tert-Butyl Ether (MTBE) and Trichloroethene (TCE). With the pesticide option, 20 additional pesticides, herbicides and PCBs are also analyzed.   For a complete list of items, click on the Information Sheet below or review our example test report.

This National Testing Laboratories Kit ships FREE to locations in the United States via UPS Ground.

We will ship you a test kit that contains all of the materials needed to collect the water for us. We provide detailed instructions on how to collect your sample and where to return it.  What is NOT included in the test kit is the return shipping of the water sample. This kit requires overnight shipment of the water sample back to the lab for analysis.

How long does testing typically take?

That depends entirely on the testing you request.  As a general rule, however, test results get emailed to you in less than 7 to 10 business days.

Will I have to pay any other laboratory or testing fees?

No.  The listed cost of each test kit includes all fees associated with the actual testing of your water sample(s).

What does shipping samples to the laboratory cost?

You will need to pay for the shipping of your sample(s) to the laboratory for testing.

For all samples requiring bacteria testing you will need to make sure the sample arrives at the laboratory within 24 hours after collection or the lab may not get an accurate bacteria count in the water.

When last we checked, overnight shipping to a National Testing Labs facility from anywhere in the Continental United States costs between $35 and $60.  You will need to pay the shipping directly to your chosen carrier (i.e. UPS, Fed Ex, or USPS).
